Meet Our Staff

Our medical team at the Murray Woman's Clinic has more than 250 years experience in the area of women's health. We believe the Clinic is “home” to some of the most talented Obstetric/GYN practitioners in the tri-state area. They are supported by some of the most skilled nurses, ultrasound technicians and laboratory specialists in this part of the country.

Gene Cook, M.D.

Dr. Cook has served on our medical staff for 31 years. Dr. Cook is a graduate of University of Louisville. He served his internship at U of L's Affiliated Hospitals and his residency at U of L. Dr. Cook specializes in Obstetrics & Gynecology and is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dawn Nabavi Deeter, M.D.

Dr. Deeter has been on our medical staff since 1999. She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, in Richmond, VA. She served her residency at Penn State University in Hershey, PA. She specializes in Obstetrics & Gynecology and is board certified.

Dr. Thomas L. Green, M.D.

Dr. Green is a graduate of the University of Kentucky's A. B. Chandler School of Medicine. He has served on the medical staff since 1978, and has pioneered a number of surgical procedures in the Murray and west Kentucky medical community. Having served both his internship and residency at the University of Louisville Hospital, he is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Stephanie Hutchison, M.D.

Dr. Hutchinson is a graduate of the Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia. She completed her residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk. She comes to us after practicing in Kentucky and, most recently as member of the staff at PRMC Womens Associates in Kerrville, Texas, with special training in computer-assisted surgical techniques.

Sherry Freeman, APRN

Sherry has over thirty years experience in women's health. She completed the University of Mississippi's Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program in 1976. She worked 19 ½ years with the State of Tennessee providing family planning, prenatal and post partum exams. Sherry joined the staff of Murray Woman's Clinic in 1992.

Debbie Wiles, APRN

Debbie is known to many families in our region as a caring, experienced nurse practitioner with training in a broad range of healthcare issues. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, and received her Master's degree in Nursing from Murray State University.
